Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a mutually beneficial relationship between farmers and the community in which participants provide funding for the farmer in advance of the growing season in exchange for produce during the growing season. Items vary according to the season. For example strawberries and sugar snap peas in spring, watermelon in summer, and hard squashes in fall. Membership is accepted throughout the growing season, members who sign up after the season has begun may do so at a prorated price
